An evening in a league of its own
?Can you give up one night for charity

Be a star at our show

Each and every one of our volunteers really are stars and we couldn't run Sportschallenge without them.  It's partly thanks to them that the event runs like clockwork.
Volunteers donate their time free of charge which is the equivalent of personally pledging £100 to our chosen charities.  This makes a HUGE difference to the total raised given around 30 volunteers sign up
every year.
So, what's the brief?  No previous experience is required, you will be fully briefed by Tony from Children's Aid, who will keep you right throughout the night.  Each helper will be allocated two tables to look after for the evening.  You will distribute  hit or miss cards (heads or tails to us!)
collect money and collate pledge & answer cards.  You may also be asked to help with distributing gifts.  All food and drink will be served by AECC staff.

Your briefing and a chance to meet and mingle with the team will start at 6.30pm, arrival drinks will be served from 7pm with the main event kicking off at 7.30pm.  All helpers will decamp to a private room for a hot buffet at 9pm. The evening will finish around midnight.
As it’s a black tie dinner, the dress code is smart, black is preferred but definitely not essential.
Every member of the Sportschallenge team is guaranteed to leave the evening with an overwhelming 'feel good' feeling.  As testified by previous volunteers it's a fun filled night where you also get the chance to do your bit for charity.

If you'd like to join an enthusiastic team of like-minded lovely people, then we'd love to hear from you.
